If your main interest is WIND SPEED and you want an easy to install home weather station / anemometer, then look no further. The La Crosse WS3502 is the ideal home install weather station for those primarily interested in wind speed, direction and barometric variation. Please note, this home weather station / anemometer does NOT feature temperature monitoring as found on some more expensive models.

This unit is great for the customer that wants to record, store and then analyse wind speed data, maybe when considering the installation of a wind turbine. If the proposed site is further than 100m from home / base station, then the base unit can be placed in a secure / dry box wired to the anemometer and then left to record for several days. The wind speed data can then be downloaded in to a PC for analysis. The La Crosse WS3502 weather station can record 1750 samples, with a sample rate between 1 minute and 12 hours. This unit comes with everything the customer needs for PC download (connection to PC is COM port, you may need a USB to COM adaptor, readily available)

The La Crosse WS3052 weather station is accurate, easy to use and install and can be fitted either WIRELESS, using radio transmission from the outdoor anemometer, or WIRED for guaranteed "non-interfered" data communication.

The unit can also be connected to a PC using a standard COM port (or USB to COM port adaptor). The WS3502 home weather station - anemometer comes with all necessary CD ROM, cables, and fixing components.

We had ours out of the box and installed within 45 minutes... and that included popping to the shops for 2 x size C batteries....
